Welcome back to this “Scripture for ALL” themed post.
The name of the portion for this week comes from the name of the central human character in the portion — Noah. In Hebrew, his name is Noach and means “rest.”
As you can see, I’ve created a new section here called “Relational Roadmap” with a cool little graphic I developed with our shorthand “RD4KB” which means?
“Relational depth for Kingdom breadth” — as you may have heard me mention, this is my life message. It will become second nature for you to let this phrase, and acronym shorthand, point to the priority of relationships over tasks and a focused reminder of our first priority — pursuing intimacy with the One Who “knows us best and loves us most” (thanks Nancy for this phrase!).
In this section is where, in addition to sharing general relationally-driven musings, I will be giving you additional directions and resources to accessing the Scriptures generally and for this year, the Parashah Project specifically.
For this week, I want to alert you to a new page on the Parashah Project website to help you strategize your daily and weekly reading. Click on the image to go to the page.
Remember, the our goal is to engage God’s word in a relationally-driven way so that we are not just filling our heads but letting Him transform our hearts and minds and souls so we can return the love that is better than life, stronger than death, and has been made accessible to us through the Messiah.
