3) Exodus 10:1–13:16

This 3rd portion in Exodus opens this way,

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these signs of mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD. (Exodus 10:1-2)

The name of the portion in Hebrew is “Bo” and means “Go!” or “Enter (into the presence of…).”

Why GOto Pharoah?

…so that I may perform these signs…

Why the signs (plagues)?

…that you may tell…

The people of God bearing witnesses and telling testimonies.

…and that you may know…

The ultimate purpose comes directly from the heart of God — His desire to be known leads God to reveal Himself to pursue Relational depth with us…for Kingdom breadth (RD4KB)!
